Employment Background: Paul’s career in fleet management began in October of 1977 when he entered the US Army as a construction equipment mechanic. Paul rapidly advanced through the ranks, and in August of 1999, he retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Three. After retirement, Paul entered into municipal fleet management, and during the past fourteen years, he has managed fleets ranging from 750 units to a 6,200 unit fleet deployed throughout the 10 Western States and Alaska. Paul is currently the Fleet Manager for the City of Cape Coral, Florida.
Paul is also a devoted member of the NAFA Fleet Management Association. He has held various positions at national level. These positions include CAFM Certification Board Member - 2008-2010, CAFM Certification Board Chair – 2011-2012, and he is currently serving as the Western Region Trustee.
Educational Background: Paul has an Associate Degree in Heavy Equipment Technology from Ferris State University. He also holds the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation from NAFA Fleet Management Association.
Hobbies/Special Interests: Paul enjoys traveling to new and exciting places with his wife Vickie. He also likes to spend time with his grandchildren, and in his spare time, he likes to collect diecast model trucks.
