Intelligent thinking behind some pretty smart features.

The Ford Explorer offers innovative and smart features to make travel more convenient. The available Lane-Keeping System* can help keep you in control if you drift out of your lane. Available are the world’s first automotive production inflatable rear safety belts. Available adaptive cruise control* and forward collision warning with brake support scans traffic ahead of you, provides an alert and precharges the brakes if it senses a collision with the vehicle in front of you. Standard AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control features Curve Control to help provide even more control. There are even available high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps that automatically change from low to high beam to enhance illumination when you need it — as well as rain-sensing wipers that use an optical sensor that looks for evidence of moisture, signaling the wipers when to wipe and how quickly.
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s judgment.
