Key Standard and Optional Features
AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ and Curve Control
Standard AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®) uses two gyroscopic sensors to monitor both yaw rate and roll rate. This allows AdvanceTrac with RSC to help you maintain control whenever it detects wheelslip, understeer, oversteer or roll motion. It also helps maintain control in adverse road conditions such as ice, gravel or rain.* AdvanceTrac with RSC also features Curve Control, which will slow the vehicle down when it senses that the vehicle is going too fast for a particular curve.
Trailer Sway Control
Trailer sway control (TSC) builds on the AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™(RSC®) system to help maintain trailer control through selective braking and adjusted engine power.39 The result is noticeable stability and control, which provides greater driver confidence when towing large loads.
17" steel wheels with wheel covers
These 17-inch steel wheels with five-spoke wheel covers are standard on Explorer.
