Key Standard and Optional Features

  • Airbags - Safety Canopy® side curtains

The Safety Canopy System® includes side-curtain airbags for front and rear outboard passengers, a rollover sensor and roll-fold technology.

  • Remote Keyless Entry System

F-150 features a remote Keyless Entry System with two key fobs. The key incorporates the SecuriLock® Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) technology designed to help prevent the engine from being started unless the coded key programmed to your vehicle is used. The fob locks and unlocks the driver’s door and includes a panic alarm. Optional on F-150 XL; standard on all other models.

  • AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®)

Corner too quickly or swerve to avoid an object and Roll Stability Control™ automatically employs its two gyroscopic sensors to measure vehicle roll and turning rates, then selectively applies individual brakes and modifies engine power to help keep all four wheels firmly planted. And it all happens instantaneously, faster than you can blink an eye.*

    • * Remember, even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It’s always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.
  • Cloth 40/20/40 front seats

The cloth-trimmed 40/20/40 front seats are both comfortable and versatile. The 20-section with integrated shoulder belt seats a center passenger and can be folded down to serve as an armrest. The XLT model also includes integral cupholders and storage.
