Employment Background: Scott began his law enforcement career working in the Salt Lake County Jail from 1988 through 1991. In 1991 he was hired as a Salt Lake County Deputy. During his tenure as a Deputy Sheriff/Law Enforcement Officer, Scott has served in many different capacities, i.e., patrol officer, canyon patrol officer, Special Operations equipment manager, and commercial vehicle safety inspector. In 2009 he was appointed as the Fleet Manager, overseeing the purchase and maintenance of all vehicles for the Unified Police Department as well as Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Educational Background: Scott attended various courses relating to law enforcement as well as vehicle safety at Salt Lake Community College.
Hobbies/Special Interests: Scott enjoys hiking, horseback riding, camping, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. His main source of pleasure and enjoyment is spending time with his family.
