The Super Duty® features an E85-capable 6.2L gas V8 plus an available B20-capable 6.7L PowerStroke® Diesel with single-sequential turbocharger - both engines with exceptional power and economy. They're teamed with the proven TorqShift® 6-speed SelectShift® transmission.
Ford Super Duty® comes in Regular Cab, SuperCab and Crew Cab configurations to match your particular job. For 2013, SYNC® with MyFord Touch® joins the impressive list of comfort and convenience features.
The impressive appearance of the 2014 Super Duty® is enough to tell you this full-size heavy-duty pickup is Built Ford Tough®. And Super Duty offers features such as the available tailgate step with 350-lb. capacity.
In addition to front airbags in the Personal Safety System,™ Super Duty® provides front side-impact airbags and the Safety Canopy® System (always wear your safety belt and secure children in the rear seat, where available). Super Duty also comes with AdvanceTrac® with RSC® and trailer sway control on all single-rear-wheel pickup models.

Engine - 6.2L SOHC 2-valve Flex Fuel V8 engine (F-250/350)
The E85-capable 6.2L V8 gas features a single overhead camshaft design and dual-equal variable cam timing — advanced features that help optimize power throughout the speed range as well as fuel efficiency. Large, heavy-duty pistons, intake and exhaust valves and a large engine bore diameter also help deliver best-in-class gas horsepower and torque* for effortless on-the-job performance - plus the fuel efficiency you need to grow your bottom line. For power conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquid propane gas (LPG), Ford offers the flexibility of the CNG/LPG Gaseous Engine Prep Package, available for F-250 and F-350 models.** The 6.2L with the CNG/LPG package can be upgraded with aftermarket upfits to bi-fuel capability, enabling it to run on either natural gas or unleaded gasoline.
Transmission - TorqShift® Heavy-Duty 6-speed SelectShift™ Automatic
The Ford TorqShift® 6-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission has big, strong gears that take on extra torque, meaning you use fewer rpm because the torque converter locks up at lower speeds. You can rev this transmission hard and push it to the extremes with confidence. The SelectShift® feature of the 6-speed TorqShift® automatic transmission has two driver-initiated modes. In Progressive Range Select, you can limit the range of gears to lock out overdrive for consistent speed over hills and mountain ranges. In Full Manual mode, you can go all the way up and all the way down the gearbox to put you fully in control.

Trailer Sway Control
Standard on Super Duty® single- and dual-rear-wheel pickups, class-exclusive* trailer sway control helps keep what you’re towing where it’s supposed to be – directly behind you. This control is accomplished through selective wheel braking and reduced engine power to help keep your trailer behind you through high winds, turns, downhills and rainsoaked roads.39
