The Super Duty® features an E85-capable 6.2L gas V8 plus an available B20-capable 6.7L PowerStroke® Diesel with single-sequential turbocharger - both engines with exceptional power and economy. They're teamed with the proven TorqShift® 6-speed SelectShift® transmission.
Ford Super Duty® comes in Regular Cab, SuperCab and Crew Cab configurations to match your particular job. For 2013, SYNC® with MyFord Touch® joins the impressive list of comfort and convenience features.
The impressive appearance of the 2014 Super Duty® is enough to tell you this full-size heavy-duty pickup is Built Ford Tough®. And Super Duty offers features such as the available tailgate step with 350-lb. capacity.
In addition to front airbags in the Personal Safety System,™ Super Duty® provides front side-impact airbags and the Safety Canopy® System (always wear your safety belt and secure children in the rear seat, where available). Super Duty also comes with AdvanceTrac® with RSC® and trailer sway control on all single-rear-wheel pickup models.

Engine - 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine
Best-in-class standard diesel 800 lb.-ft. of torque and 400 horsepower.* Plus excellent fuel efficiency to go with all that power.** B20 capability and clean, quiet operation too. That’s the Ford-built 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel. The Power Stroke features a graphite iron engine block that is stronger yet lighter than cast iron. Aluminum cylinder heads with precision dual water jackets reduce weight and improve cooling. Inboard exhaust and outboard air induction architecture helps reduce turbo lag. The class-exclusive† single-sequential turbocharger uses the compact, efficient design of a dual-sided compressor wheel to help generate maximum power - and deliver it quickly with 30 psi of boost. Another great feature is the high-pressure common-rail induction system which, operating at nearly 30,000 psi, delivers up to five injections per combustion cycle for optimum throttle response and fuel efficiency, as well as reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). What’s more, the Power Stroke is equipped with instant-start glow plugs for quick start-ups, even at extremely low temperatures.

An AM/FM stereo with single-CD player, MP3 capability, clock and four speakers is standard in Super Duty® XLT and optional in XL.
Integrated Trailer Brake Controller
Super Duty®has the first factory-installed, fully integrated trailer brake controller (TBC) available in a full-size pickup, so there are no installation hassles or aftermarket worries. Integrated with the ABS and trailer sway control, TBC synchronizes vehicle and trailer brakes for seamless braking, even with the heaviest loads. The Ford TBC offers the advantage of verified compatibility with trailers (one to four axles) utilizing electrically actuated drum brakes and certain electric-over-hydraulic (EOH) actuated drum or disc brake systems.
Trailer Sway Control
Standard on Super Duty® single- and dual-rear-wheel pickups, class-exclusive* trailer sway control helps keep what you’re towing where it’s supposed to be – directly behind you. This control is accomplished through selective wheel braking and reduced engine power to help keep your trailer behind you through high winds, turns, downhills and rainsoaked roads.39
