What is a registration? Registration is the opportunity for customers to express their interest in the 2022 Ford E-Transit by supplying their contact information and estimated number of vehicles needed by body style. Customers will receive communications about the 2022 Ford E-Transit and be among the first to be notified when the order bank opens. It is not an actual order and does not guarantee delivery.¹ No deposit is required.
What steps are required to complete my registration? Go online to Fleet.ford.com and fill out the “Register Today” form on the 2022 Ford E-Transit page. You will be asked to provide your company information and choose your preferred dealer, Fleet Management Company or Ford Account Manager. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by you.
What is a FIN account and do I need one? A FIN or Fleet Identification Number provides additional benefits for US Fleet customers. It does not cost money, and you can choose to sign up here to get started. By providing your FIN code in the form, your company information will automatically populate, and upon submission, your designated dealer/NAM may be notified you’ve submitted your interest in the 2022 Ford E-Transit. If you don’t currently have a FIN code, you will still be able to complete the registration and submit your interest in the 2022 Ford E-Transit.
Can I select any Ford dealer? If you have a preferred dealer that you currently work with, please enter them in the appropriate field. Please keep in mind, because the 2022 Ford E-Transit is electrified, the dealer you designate may or may not be EV-certified. The 2022 Ford E-Transit will only be available at EV-certified dealers.
What if I don’t have a preferred dealer? You do not have to designate a preferred dealer; it is an optional field in the form. By submitting the Registration Form, you are registering to receive information about the 2022 Ford E-Transit from Ford.
Can I make changes to my registration? You will not be able to make changes to your registration on the fleet.ford.com site. By filling out the form, you are registering to sign up to receive additional marketing information from Ford. You will be able to opt out of future communications, and you can choose to not place an order at the time the order bank opens, but you cannot change or cancel your registration. If you would like to opt out of future communications, you can unsubscribe from email communications via the footer of your confirmation email by clicking the “Unsubscribe” hyperlink and following the prompts.
Can I cancel my registration? A registration is your expressed interest in specific body styles and unit counts. You may follow up with your designated dealer, or Ford Account Manager to make them aware of any status changes to your interest so that we can better serve you. Because registrations are not actual orders and there is no deposit, there is nothing tangible to cancel and no orders would be placed. If you choose to update your status with your dealer/Ford Account Manager after submitting information, you may still receive information and emails about the 2022 Ford E-Transit.
Can I still order a 2022 Ford E-Transit later if I do not register? Yes. The order bank is open to any orders, regardless of whether you have registered your interest or not in advance. Customers will receive communications about the 2022 Ford E-Transit and be among the first to be notified when the order bank opens. It is not an actual order and does not guarantee delivery.¹ No deposit is required.
When can I order the 2022 Ford E-Transit for my fleet? You will be given advance notice of the date the order bank opens to begin the ordering process. At that time, you will be able to identify and work with your dealer, Fleet Management Company or Ford Account Manager to finalize ordering details. Tentative ordering should begin in June 2021.
When will I take delivery of my vehicle(s)? By registering, you will be signed up to receive information, including when the order bank opens. Should you place an order, actual delivery times may vary based on vehicle model and configuration selected, final destination and demand. Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2022. Once your vehicle is scheduled, you will receive further notification from your EV-certified dealer or Fleet Management Company.
Can I add a registration for someone? If you are a dealer, Fleet Management Company, or Ford Account Manager handling an interested customer case, you may submit a registration on behalf of that customer using the appropriate drop down menu found on the form. Express permission is required from customer before any registration may be submitted on their behalf.
Is the pricing final? The pricing that is shown on the form is a targeted MSRP and is not considered final and does not include any optional equipment.² Final pricing will be available when the Order Bank Opens and customers can work with dealers, Fleet Management Companies, or Ford Account Managers to finalize pricing.
How do I find out what dealers are EV-Certified? Go to Fleet.ford.com to the Locate a Dealer feature here, and check the “Electric Vehicles” box before searching for a dealer near you.
I am a Canadian customer, and would like to register, how can I do that? Go online to Fleet.ford.ca and fill out the “Register Today” form on the 2022 Ford E-Transit page. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by you.
