3.0L EcoBoost^® Engine

As the backbone of the ST, King Ranch and Platinum powertrains, the 3.0L EcoBoost^® takes the athletic feel of Explorer a step further. By using turbocharging and direct injection, the Platinum powertrain generates 365 horsepower plus 380 lb.-ft. of torque. * The ST combines this muscular engine with Ford Performance engine tuning. With 400 hp plus 415 lb.-ft. of torque* and top speed of 143 mph, the 2021 ST really brings the power.
