CONTINUOUSLY CONTROLLED DAMPING HELPS KEEP YOUR TIRES ON THE ROAD

The Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) system dynamically adjusts shock absorber stiffness in real time to match the road surface and driver inputs. It’s fully automatic depending on the drive mode you select. It monitors suspension position, vehicle loading, vehicle speed, road conditions and steering to adjust suspension damping for enhanced vehicle control, particularly when towing or hauling heavy loads. Standard on Limited, and available on LARIAT, King Ranch® and Platinum.

TOW EVEN SMARTER

The available Smart Trailer Tow Connector informs you if something regarding your trailer needs attention. Just view the tow activity screen to find out information like when your tow or turn indicator lamps need to be replaced or brake lamps or trailer battery problems.

ONBOARD SCALES

This first-in-its-class* available feature measures approximate payload weight. You can view onboard scale status through the SYNC 4 screen, FordPass™ App or via a LED visual display in the taillamps that lets you know your load status. That way you know what you’re carrying doesn’t exceed the weight your vehicle can handle.

BLUECRUISE


Let’s face it. We all want to feel more confident and in command on the road. Available BlueCruise is a new technology that builds upon available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering and Speed Sign Recognition.* It allows the driver to operate their vehicle hands-free while being monitored by a driver-facing camera to make sure you’re keeping your eyes on the road. This feature is compatible on pre-qualified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones that make up over 100,000 miles of North American roads.10

*BlueCruise is a hands-free highway driving feature. Only remove hands from the steering wheel when in a Hands-Free Blue Zone. Always watch the road and be prepared to resume control of the vehicle.

This feature is compatible on prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones that make up over 130,000 miles of North American roads.

DRIVER-FACING CAMERA

An advanced infrared driver-facing camera will track eye gaze and head position to help ensure drivers are paying attention to the road while in Hands-Free Mode as well as hands-on Lane Centering Mode, which works on any road with lane lines. Drivers will be notified by visual prompts on their instrument cluster when they need to return their attention to the road or resume control of the vehicle.10

Sometimes it’s just you and your F-150 out there. Good thing it has your back. Smarter than ever, the all-new F-150 looks out for you whether you’re towing, changing lanes or finding a spot to park. The advanced, purposeful technology and capability help keep you in control while getting it all done.

BLIS®  WITH TRAILER COVERAGE

Available BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Trailer Coverage is a little added insurance out on the road. This system can help add confidence on the road by alerting you if a vehicle is detected in your truck’s or trailer’s blind spot.10 With the available telescoping trailer tow mirrors, you can get an even better look at what you’re towing, helping create a strong sense of security during lane changes and wide turns.

LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM

It happens. While on the job or heading to your favorite outdoor getaway, you’ve wandered too close to the edge of your lane. Luckily, the available Lane-Keeping System can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying on track? After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break. *10

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Hazards along the way can arise, anywhere, at any time. This feature is designed to scan the road ahead and can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian detected ahead of you. * If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But they’ll only activate if they’re needed.10
*Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision. It does not replace safe driving. See owner’s manual for details and limitations.

AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS

We’ve all been there. Heading into a pitch-black stretch of road and having to turn on the high beams, then forgetting to turn them off as oncoming traffic approaches. Now, unlit roads, dark peripheries and other low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard. Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead. They even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers. So you can keep your focus — and both hands on the wheel.10

INTELLIGENT ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Tech that makes your long drive feel like a cruise. Not only does available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go help you keep your pace, it can also slow down your vehicle if the traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. As soon as things clear, you’ll get right back to where you left off. And that’s not the only way it levels up your cruise control experience. The added Lane Centering feature scans lane markings to help keep your F-150 on track. With Speed Sign Recognition to go along with it, you can stay up to speed, even if you missed the signs. *10

REAR VIEW CAMERA WITH DYNAMIC HITCH ASSIST

Between glancing in the rearview mirror and craning your neck, backing up requires some multitasking. So we help make it easier. Standard on the 2021 Ford F-150, the Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist provides a great view of what’s behind your vehicle. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and you can navigate Reverse with more confidence.10

PRO TRAILER BACKUP ASSIST™

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro, backing up with a trailer can be challenging. This available feature makes it as easy as turning a knob – simply rotate in the direction you want the trailer to go and Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ responds accordingly.10

HILL DESCENT CONTROL™

Hill Descent Control™ is essentially a cruise control system that uses traction control technology with anti-lock brakes.10 This system continually adjusts braking pressure to help control slippage and maintain a constant preset speed while you are going down a steep grade. This capability helps you concentrate on steering since you don’t have to apply the brakes or downshift the transmission. On a downhill grade, Hill Descent Control can maintain a vehicle speed between 2 and 12 mph. Above 20 mph, the system remains activated, but the descent speed cannot be set until you are below 20 mph again.

CONNECTED BUILT-IN NAVIGATION

Whether it means missing a flight or just losing your cool, a wrong turn can put a dent in your day. But like a Sherpa for trips large and small, the available connected built-in Navigation System can help you stay confidently on course. But that’s not all. It can also point you to the nearest gas stations or coffee shops.12

EVASIVE STEERING ASSIST

Traffic is rolling along smoothly when suddenly there’s a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. This available feature can help make it easier to potentially avoid a collision. It doesn’t steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system’s warning goes off and you need to maneuver around the vehicle ahead.10

ACTIVE PARK ASSIST 2.0

Parking made easy – even in tight parallel or reverse perpendicular spots. When engaged, it can help locate a potential spot. Then all you have to do is brake to a complete stop, shift into Neutral and hold down the Active Park Assist button – your vehicle does the rest. Available Active Park Assist 2.0 also offers park out assist with side-sensing capability, so you can confidently navigate out of a parking spot when someone’s parked too close to you.10

INTERSECTION ASSIST

It's not easy to traverse a busy intersection, especially when you need to consider other vehicles around you. Intersection Assist can help. Available Intersection Assist uses the front camera and radar sensors to detect oncoming traffic while you are attempting to turn left. If there’s a risk of a potential collision with an oncoming vehicle, your vehicle can alert you and apply the brakes. *10This just might give you more confidence when attempting to make a left turn at an intersection.

F-150 provides bright, efficient and long-lasting illumination. On the road, available LED projector headlamps with Adaptive Dynamic Bending give you a clear view of the road, adjusting for clarity around curves and creating a wide beam to help you see off to the side.
